State Pension Age rises to 67 (if born after 6 April 1960)

The State Pension age is currently 66 for both men and women. It will begin rising to 67 from 6 May 2026, affecting anyone born on or after 6 April 1960. A further increase to 68 in expected between 2044-2046, affecting those born on or after 6 April 1970.

State Pension age is kept under review and could change again in the future depending on factors including changes in life expectancy.
