Pension payment information

  • Your monthly pension will be automatically paid direct to your bank or building society normally on the 2nd to last working day of every month, for a list of the current tax year pay dates Click>Payroll dates April 2018 to March 2019 and Click>Payroll dates April 2019 to March 2020
  • You will NOT be sent a monthly payslip unless your NET pay changes by more than £5. If you wish to receive a monthly payslip you must tell us.
  • Whenever your pension increases you will receive a payslip to confirm your annual pension increase.
  • You will also receive your P60 (end of tax year pay & tax certificate for the Inland Revenue) in April or May each year.
P60s

On the outside, the P60 looks like a payslip but, to avoid confusion the front of the document will clearly state - DO NOT DESTROY YOUR P60.

Please make sure that you keep your P60 safe as we are unable to issue a duplicate. You may need the P60 to prove your income for benefit claims or if you are required to complete an HMRC Tax Return.

If you have any questions or require any further information, please don't hesitate to contact the Pensions Helpline 01306 872100.

Please note – It is important that you remain in contact with us and notify us of any change in your circumstances, change of address, or difficulty with delivering post to you. After retirement lack of contact may result in your pension payment being suspended. Any change of address or personal details must be signed by the member.
